Splendid Encounters III builds on the success of the Warsaw and Bath conferences held in 2013 and 2014 and the meeting of historians involved in all aspects of diplomatic history in premodern Europe.

Splendid Encounters III: Diplomats and Diplomacy in the Early Modern World – will be held on the 5th and 6th March 2015 at the European University Institute, Florence. This conference is part of the Premodern Diplomats Network.
